From derelict cowshed to artist's studio
Standing in a conservation area with stringent planning constraints, this delightful studio has been created from a derelict cowshed. Bricks and pantiles were reused from the original building, which is finished with featheredged timber cladding. Used as an artists studio and for entertaining, the airy summerhouse features oak flooring, halogen lighting on the lofty ceiling and an open-plan kitchen area. A series of french windows open on the patio and let in plenty of light.
